Law Enforcement Grant Writing 101 is nationally certified by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST). Sworn personnel in participating states receive in-service training hours for attending.

This course is the only training designed specifically for law enforcement and the grants that they will pursue. Law Enforcement Grant Writing 101 emphasizes a systematic approach to grant preparation, including the collection and organization of agency data, proactive grant opportunity identification, grant announcement dissection, and structured writing. High quality state and federal grant application examples are presented in this course.

Course Instructor
Dr. Evan Sorg is a former New York City Police Officer, author, and an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice. He received his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Temple University in 2015. He has served as a grant reviewer for the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice, and is a National Institute of Justice W.E.B Du Bois Fellow.
